Today’s guest was Francia Vogini, President of Husky Haven of Florida.  Francia began rescuing dogs seven years ago when she saw a dog on social media that needed a foster home.  Although she already had three huskies of her own, her heart said she needed to get involved.  She helped find a forever home for her foster and saw how much this dog helped the adopter overcome her depression.  That was all it took and Francia was hooked.    Read more

Today we welcomed back to the show, Johnna Devereaux.  Johnna is a certified clinical pet nutritionist, founder of Fetch RI and Director of Nutrition and Wellness for Bow Wow Labs.  In an earlier life she was a short sale negotiator before meeting her dog, Diego, who changed her trajectory forever.  Diego is a rescue dog who had numerous health issues as a pup.  This set Johnna on a path to pursue her certification in pet nutrition and interest as an herbalist.  There has been no looking back.  Since then she opened a unique pet boutique in Rhode Island known as Fetch RIjoined the team at Bow Wow Labs and adopted Lola.    Read more

Jenna Landry, is the founder of American Horse Project.  This is an initiative dedicated to the protection of equines within U.S. borders.  Specifically, the organization is focused on the issue of horse slaughter and the atrocities associated with the practice of eating horse meat.  Each year approximately 150,000 American horses, ponies, donkeys, mules and burros (equines) are shipped to Mexico and Canada where they are brutally murdered.    Read more
